What’s Mr. Ferrari’s objective to revisit Taiwan and participate in 2017 Smart City Expo?

 

A Letter comes from Grenoble-Alpes, France

 

Christopher FERRARI found the 2016 edtion of the Smart City Expo tremendously beneficial.He was to meet with leaders from other cities from all over the world and to compare smart cities project and strategies. He sees this event as a tremendous opportunity to learn from others’ experiences and to share best practices.

 

Furthermore, the event provides the opportunity to showcase Grenoble on the world stage. The Greater City Area is home to some of the world’s best researchers and most dynamic companies in the smart cities industry and it is important to the President of the City Area to add value to this ecosystem through facilitating collaborations and business with actors from all over the world.

 

The 2016 edition of the event’s result prove that the Smart City Expo is an event that is not to be miss! Over the last year, following the show:

 

1, A Grenoble company has set up a base in Taiwan.

2, A Taiwanese company has set up a base in Grenoble.

3, Three Taiwanese delegations visited Grenoble.

4, An MOU was signed between the Grenoble City Area and the City of Taoyuan.

5, A Grenoble delogation participated in the Computex trade show.

6, The French Tech Initiative has take off in Taiwan with the opening of the French Tech hub.

7,Links have been forged or improved between universities and research centres.

 

It is therefore important for Christophe FERRARI to follow up on the actions started in 2016 and to continued building relationship between actors in Taiwan and actors in Grenoble.
