　　智慧城市展是亞洲最大的智慧城市以及物聯網產業活動。每年政府首長與企業菁英在台北聚首一同商研智慧城市發展的策略與方法。全球暖化是全世界共同的問題，而過多的二氧化碳排入大氣之中是造成全球暖化最重要的元兇，專家們也認為其中80%的碳排放來自於都市，因此市政府的角色在氣候變遷中更顯重要，為此在巴黎協議中「次國家」的地位也特別被強調出來。所以如何降低碳排放以及建設永續發展的城市將是市政府首要的任務。
　　2017永續城市論壇是本次活動的重點之一。主辦單位台北市電腦公會希望能夠傳達一個重要的訊息，透過智慧城市建設的過程，將智慧科技應用於節約能源、綠能交通、循環經濟、再生能源或乾淨的水及空氣等，可推動城市的永續發展，並具體落實巴黎峰會的全球減碳目標。我們將每年舉辦此活動，希望全世界的城市永續發展策略與解決方案都能來台灣交流。台灣也可以為地球貢獻心力。我們誠摯的歡迎城市以及企業一同於永續城市論壇中分享他們的經驗。
