This year, "Kyoto Smart City Expo 2016" will be held this summer, on June 1^st to June 3^rd in Kyoto City and Kansai Science City.

During the 3-days event, International Symposium will be on the first day (June 1^st), including the commemorative lecture by Yamagiwa Toshikazu, the President of Kyoto University and Vinay Venkatraman of Leap Kraft (Denmark) will be giving his experience on TED during his keynote speech. The world's most advanced lectures and panel sessions joined by experts and researchers from the field of IoT and artificial intelligence (AI).

In the second and the third day, Companies and organizations in the fields related to smart city and ICT, are gathering from home and abroad, providing the opportunity of world-wide business matching in the Smart City Messe in Keihanna.
